Brightlink and Heroes in partnership have established the Home Working Network to support those who are seeing changes in the way they work in 2020 and beyond. At regular intervals the Home Working Network offers free, restorative check ins and check outs led by Lorna and Tammi. Let’s connect with each other to share support and encourage each other during this time when things are a bit different to the usual routine. If you’re an old hand at working from home and you have some great tips techniques and routines, come along and share them. If you’re new to working from home, or finding it challenging, come and see what everyone else is doing and pick up a plan. We’ve been home working for many years and working together with remote teams, we’d love to share how we do it and learn from you. Communication and connection are so important when working remotely, for business but also more importantly for wellbeing.
Bring a cup of tea, coffee, fruit juice or water and join us for a video conference check in and a check out to. Lorna and Tammi meet with people in this free, informal chat about who we are, what we do, how we’re taking care of ourselves, our families, our communities and our work. Lorna leads us through some top tips for organisation and planning where we all work together to make life easier.
Tammi a clinical psychotherapist will take a more therapeutic approach to helping us plan how to stay well and connected with ourselves, our friends and our family as we’ll be able to put aside our connection to work and our colleagues for some rest. We can enjoy a weekends doing whatever makes us well and happy and we can return to our working week rested, creative and productive after checking out of our home working week.
Our check ins and check outs are open to anyone and are free, although you can commission us to facilitate bespoke check ins and check outs for your teams too. There is also a free Facebook group available for those who attend check ins and check outs.
On these web pages, you will find resources and services, some of which are free and others which can be commissioned, purchased or form part of a subscription.
