Current opportunity in the legal sector – Thorpe and Co Ltd

Thorpe and Co Ltd are seeking an additional Conveyancing Solicitor/CILEx Legal Executive/Licensed Conveyancer to join the conveyancing team. This role can be based at either our Filey Office or Scarborough Office.
The ideal candidate will be confident in advising clients on a range of conveyancing matters and will be able to demonstrate their experience in a range of areas including purchases, sales, remortgages, buy-to-lets, leasehold, shared ownership, new builds and unregistered property.
Responsibilities:
– No client following required.
– Accountable for the management of your own case load.
– Building rapport with clients’ and delivering exceptional service.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Qualified either as a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
– Minimum of 1 year PQE in conveyancing and preferably CQS accreditation.
– Experience of Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), protocols and using conveyancing portals, including HM Land Registry.
– Confident in meeting client needs through delivering a quality service.
– Able to act autonomously and make independent decisions.
– Have a keen eye for detail and be able to prioritise effectively.
– Excellent IT skills.

Salary: £30,000 + depending on experience and qualification
