About Us

We are a specialist law firm dealing with Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Medical Negligence claims. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Legal Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in law and gain valuable practical experience within a specialist legal environment while working towards a recognised legal qualification.

The Role

As a Legal Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced solicitors and legal team, gaining hands-on experience across a range of personal injury and clinical negligence matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting solicitors and fee earners with day-to-day casework.
• Communicating professionally and sensitively with clients, witnesses and other parties.
• Assisting with the preparation of correspondence and legal documents.
• Carrying out legal and factual research.
• Reviewing and organising documents and evidence.
• Assisting with the preparation of medical records and other supporting evidence.
• Maintaining accurate electronic and paper case files.
• Updating case management systems and recording important deadlines.
• Liaising with medical experts, insurers, barristers and other professionals where appropriate.
• Assisting with general administrative duties within the legal team.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality and complying with data protection and professional requirements.

As your knowledge and experience develop, you will be given increasing responsibility and opportunities to become involved in more complex aspects of casework.

Previous legal experience is not essential. We are particularly interested in your attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to developing a career in law.

Qualifications

Applicants should meet the entry requirements for the relevant apprenticeship programme.

• GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English and Maths.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A-levels or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Driving licence essential.
