Become an Employer Partner

Many of our learners come to Brightlink because  their employer wants to offer them the opportunity to develop and grow and to benefit from greater productivity and expertise. Brightlink has become a team employers trust to guide them through everything they need to know about legal learning and team or organisation development in general.  Our partnership programme is simply a way of recognising and rewarding employers who choose to send their employees to learn with Brightlink.

If you employ people who may be interested in training as a Paralegal, CILEX Lawyer or Solicitor, you can speak to us about how we can partner.

In addition to these partnership discounts, you will also receive everything that all of our sponsoring employers receive.

√ Access to our team for support and advice before and throughout the period of study

√ Communities of support

√ Presentations to your teams

√ Learning and development audit

√ Professional experience guidance

√ Regulatory application signposting

√ Award collaborations

√ Explanations of the latest legal qualifications

√ Subject specialist practitioners and academics meeting and emailing with learners

*Please note that the employer partnership programme does not apply to apprenticeships, where there is already full funding and a significant amount of contact and support.

How It Works

  1. Discuss your training needs with us by contacting john@brightlink.org.uk or connect@brightlink.org.uk
  2. Book a presentation to your team/s if you need one.
  3. Let us know the number of people you would like to send to study with us and their names and email addresses as well as the course you would like them to study.
  4. Our team will contact them to lead them through application and enrolment and they will send you an invoice.
  5. Pay for their course and they will get underway.

You will receive partner benefits from us throughout their study.

Programme Rules (Summary)

  • If you are an individual wanting to send learners to Brightlink please take a look at our affiliate scheme.
  • Existing sponsoring employers and partners will continue to receive the existing benefits and begin to receive the additional ones for any new learners they send to us after April 2026.
  • The people being referred must know you are referring them and agree to their details being shared.
  • Discounts are applied at the invoice stage and invoice terms are strictly 14 days.
  • The partnership programme currently applies within the UK only.
  • The partnership programme does not apply to apprenticeships.
  • Course extensions are for one month at a time, so for partners, one month will be discounted. For members of the Partner + programme, one month per learner will be free and a further extension discounted. You may stack and pay for multiple extensions.

Why Brightlink?

There are lots of reasons why employers choose Brightlink as their law school.

As a partner, it helps to understand why choosing Brightlink is a good idea and a positive outcome for everyone involved.

Brightlink is a teaching and learning community where we support people to become Paralegals, Solicitors and CILEX Lawyers.

We also help learners take a more accessible route into the legal profession. Many employers save between £3,000 and £37,000 per student on legal education compared to some other routes and providers.

Over the last ten years we have guided learners through around 2,000 qualifications, helping our clients and learners save an estimated £6 million compared with some other training providers, and around £18.5 million compared with the university route to a legal career.

We offer:

  • CILEX Professional Qualifications
  • Welsh Legal Services Apprenticeships
  • SQE preparation courses
  • Leadership training for lawyers

Here are some of the key headlines that help you understand what we do….

  • We train lawyers
  • No degree is needed to become a lawyer through Brightlink
  • We offer online learning with access to tutors
  • We offer multiple learning methods and resources
  • Everything we do is online.

Here is the detail….

We work with a wide range of organisations who trust us with their legal training. You can see some of them here:
https://brightlink.org.uk/who-we-work-with/

Our approach combines the convenience of online learning with the connection and support of real people. We work in a restorative way and have won awards for excellence in education and business and professional services.

Our founder, Lorna Baldry, designed and created the first CILEX e-learning courses and established a free legal advice clinic that is unique of its kind. She writes legal and professional qualifications that are recognised internationally and previously served as a Chief Examiner. Our wider team includes qualified teachers and practising lawyers.

People who qualify with Brightlink go on to become fee-earning lawyers, partners in law firms, judges and business owners. In our CPD programmes, 100% of participants say they would recommend the training to others.

Brightlink is a family-run, values-based business, and we genuinely care about our partners, learners, their progress and their achievements.

We provide a range of resources and teaching and learning approaches which are dynamic in meeting a variety of learning styles and needs.

What stands out to employers most is how easy we make learning and development for them and how much support they and their employees receive from us. Here is what some of our employer partners said about us.
