Overview
Join us at our second Lunch & Learn workshop on Time Management That Works.
Does your working day sometimes feel controlled by deadlines, emails and other people’s priorities?
Thrive in Law – Time Management That Works, is a practical, coaching led workshop for law apprentices, students and early-career legal professionals.
You will learn how to:
- Decide what genuinely needs your attention first
- Plan around your real workload and capacity
- Account for preparation, checking and unexpected demands
- Protect your focus without becoming unavailable
- Understand what may sit behind procrastination
- Raise competing priorities professionally
- Create a simple working system that suits you
- Legal work rarely arrives in a neat order. You may begin with a plan, only for an urgent request, changing deadline or difficult task to take over your day.
This session moves beyond generic advice such as “write a better list” or “work faster”. You will explore your own working patterns and leave with practical tools, useful communication phrases and one realistic change to test.
The workshop also supports the professional skills employers value: prioritisation, realistic planning, early communication and ownership of workload.
Time management is not about fitting in more. It is about making deliberate decisions about what matters, what is realistic and what needs communicating.
